What we expect

• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn – it’s ok to not know something. More important is willingness to learn new things
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail. It is great if additionally you have ability to analyse numbers, compare pricing structures, and work comfortably in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills for professional outreach to external vendors and internal team
• Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage data inputs systematically
• Fluent Latvian and English to support daily communication and collaboration with colleagues across the Northern Europe region.
• Availability of 25–30 hours per week
• Student status required in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

Your role

• Database Management: Build and organize the master vendor database, ensuring all supplier profiles, compliance certificates, and contact details are accurate.
• Market Research & Sourcing: Search for and make an initial assessment of potential suppliers of raw materials, equipment, and business services.
• Negotiation Support: Support data preparation for negotiations.
• Performance Tracking: Help track supplier performance, including delivery times, product quality, and cost savings
• Administrative Compliance: Assist in managing procurement documentation vendors.
