PHP Backend Developer Intern

Digi Media is growing fast, and our IT team is working on real, production-level systems — including a Horizon-related project focused on simplifying grant and funding application processes. 
 
We are looking for a motivated PHP Backend Developer Intern who wants hands-on experience working on real products, not just theory.

What we expect 

Good knowledge of PHP (Laravel is a strong plus)  
Understanding of MVC architecture  
Basic knowledge of SQL (MySQL)  
Familiarity with Git (GitLab is a plus)  
Basic understanding of Docker  
Ability to read and understand existing code  
Interest in backend systems and clean architecture  

What you’ll do 

Develop backend features using PHP (Laravel)  
Work with databases (MySQL)  
Integrate and work with APIs  
Analyze and improve existing code 
Support development of scalable systems (queues, workers)  
Collaborate with the team using Git and CI/CD workflows
