Junior Electrical Estimator (Construction)

SINTEC UK is a London-based mechanical and electrical contractor specialising in automation technologies for material handling and storage systems. Our teams deliver installation projects across the UK, Europe, USA, Brazil, Australia and other regions, working with global clients including Amazon, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's, Ocado, BMW, Nestlé and many others. Our Latvian subsidiary is looking for a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our Riga office.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Secondary vocational or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
• Previous experience in estimating, design, or a technical field will be considered as an advantage.
• Strong IT literacy: MS Office; AutoCAD or Navisworks knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
• Proficiency in English both written and spoken
• Accuracy, analytical thinking, and a strong sense of responsibility person able to work in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and within a team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive and organise project documentation submitted by clients.
• Create project folders within the company's estimating system.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Prepare project cost estimates and calculations within specified deadlines by determining the required materials, labour, equipment, and associated costs.
• Collaborate with Procurement Manager to obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Maintain and update the estimating databases.
• Participate in project meetings to clarify project scope and requirements.
