WordPress Developer Intern

EVR is an electronics refurbishment company specializing in the repair and enhancement of used electronics.

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our IT team and gain real-world experience in web development.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work on live projects, including integrating our inventory system with our WordPress website.

We are looking for a proactive WordPress Developer Intern to independently manage tasks related to integrating our inventory system with our WordPress website.

You will handle backend and frontend tasks, contribute to website development, and perform ongoing maintenance. This internship is ideal for self-motivated individuals who can take initiative and deliver results with minimal supervision.


Preferably, you are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress (installation, themes, plugins).
- Solid experience with PHP for backend tasks.
- Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL).

- Experience with APIs/RESTful services or tools like Zapier/WooCommerce for system integrations.

- Independently integrate the company's inventory system with the WordPress website using APIs, plugins, or custom code.

- Execute backend development tasks, including PHP scripting, database management (MySQL), and WordPress plugin customization.

- Implement frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

- Develop and customize WordPress themes to enhance site functionality and user experience.

- Perform website maintenance, including updates, troubleshooting bugs, and optimizing performance.

- Test integrations and website features to ensure seamless functionality.

- Document your work and contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions.
