Intern Training Academy

Under the leadership of Cath Lab Technologies Training Academy Leader for EMEA Region-Led Markets (EMEA RLM), you will support the implementation of the Health Care Professionals (HCP) and Internal Training and Educational strategy and activities in fields related to device therapy and diagnostics of Cardiac Rhythm Diseases (Cardiac Rhythm Management, CRM) and to interventional treatment of cardiac tachyarrhythmias (Cardiac Ablation Solutions, CAS).

Internship details:

•    Start date: September

•    Duration: 6 months (extension to 12 months is possible)

•    Working hours: 40h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)

•    Working model: hybrid

•    Location: Riga or Jūrmala, Latvia

Required Knowledge: 

•    Currently pursuing a master’s or bachelor’s degree (you must be a student during the entire internship duration)

•    Fluency in Latvian and English (written and spoken)

•    Proficiency in MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)

•    Skills in working with online platforms like IB Power and Share Point 

•    Good analytical skills with the highest level of integrity

•    Very good organizational and project management skills

•    High level of empathy and adaptability

•    Good communication skills; willingness to work as a part of an international team

Would be a plus:

•    Proven understanding of the medical device or pharmaceutical area and healthcare systems’ specifics

•    Russian languages spoken/written

•    Eager to learn & develop

•    Advanced knowledge in Share Point and creation pivotal tables in Excel

•    AI user will be a big advantage 

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

•    Work in close collaboration with the Training Academy Team members across EMEA RLM Region and support the execution of Training and Educational (T&E) programs defined by strategic T&E plan

•    Contribute to the planning and execution of T&E activities with primary focus on tracking of the internal education processes in the EMEA RLM region in CRM and CAS operational units

•    Support development and daily management of the training databases, track progress of the training participants and training outcome

•    Participate in creation of the content and content management of the online Training Academy Share Point Web portal

•    Help with the analysis of the operation unit’s pool of KOL and proctors to ensure optimum utilization of these resources in T&E activities

•    Run databases of trainees and participate in preparation of all types of tracking documents and other necessary data
