SEO Engineer - Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical SEO Engineer / SEO Specialist Intern to join our marketing and digital growth team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in optimizing our online presence, improving search engine rankings, and driving organic traffic to our website and content. The intern will play a key role in implementing SEO strategies to connect with our target audience of construction professionals and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value, relevant terms for our target audience (e.g., "real-time structural monitoring," "construction IoT," "predictive maintenance in infrastructure").
On-Page SEO Optimization: Assist in optimizing website content, meta descriptions, title tags, headers, and internal linking structures for search engines.
Technical SEO Support: Help identify and resolve technical SEO issues such such as crawlability, indexing, site speed, and mobile-friendliness.
Content Optimization: Collaborate with content creators to ensure new and existing content is SEO-friendly and aligned with keyword strategies.
Backlink Analysis: Support in analyzing backlink profiles and identifying opportunities for link building strategies.
SEO Performance Monitoring: Utilize SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to track website performance, organic traffic, and keyword rankings.
Competitor Analysis: Research and analyze competitor SEO strategies to identify opportunities and gaps.
Reporting: Assist in preparing regular reports on SEO performance and insights.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a strong interest in digital marketing and SEO.
Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console is a plus.
Experience with any SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) is highly advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Proactive, self-starter with a strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
