Description

We are looking for a Storage Operations specialist to be a part of our Back-up team.

Requirements

  • Experience with VMware.
  • Knowledge of various storage systems (HP/IBM).
  • Practical experience with virtualization solutions: VMware, Hyper-V
  • Understanding of ITIL principles.
  • Goal oriented and very accurate personality.
  • Fluent English.

Duties

  • Handle VMware related storage tasks.
  • Expansion, creating new LUN capacities.
  • Creation of new hosts and assigning of LUNs.
  • Perform firmware upgrades for storage systems.
  • Perform daily monitoring of storage systems health.
  • Handle operation mailbox and Service Now tickets related to storage tasks to sort, screen, prioritize and handle incidents and requests.
  • Assist vendors during hardware repair activities.
  • Other storage/SAN related tasks delegated by Team leader.
