Sustainable Finance Analyst

An Alternative Investment Manager is looking to hire an analyst intern interested in sustainable finance.

The candidate needs to have a “do what it takes” attitude with interest in finance & European policy with a particular focus on energy efficiency.

1) Experience and/or strong interest in financial analysis, regulation, and reporting with a focus on sustainability;

2) Coursework and/or experience in finance, real estate, and/or financial modeling preferred;

3) Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;

4) Strong oral and written communication skills;

5) Excellent command of excel and ppt;

6) Self-motivation; ability to work both independently and as a team player;

7) Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in Latvian and English. Another European language is a plus;

8) A personal laptop.

1) Analysing the financial and regulatory framework for sustainable finance;

2) Preparing presentations and reports for EU projects and investors;

3) Preparing financial projections and evaluating potential investments;

4) Assisting in the preparation of preliminary investment summaries ;

5) Assisting with due diligence review, project closings, and transition of projects;

6) Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
