Atlas develops and manufactures Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for professional use cases that work with prominent defence, security and infrastructure institutions across the U.S., Europe and Asia. Founded in 2015 by aerospace and robotics professionals with a vision to disrupt the UAS sphere, Atlas utilises its proprietary technology to provide its users with valuable data, quickly and safely, through advanced, highly robust and easy-to-use aerospace technology.

Atlas is currently looking for exceptional talent to join mechanical engineering internship program. As an intern you will receive an opportunity to gain unique hands-on experience in an innovative work environment and become a significant part of a highly skilled team.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Students or graduates of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Transport and Aeronautics.
  • Knowledge and experience with SolidEdge, Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks (preferred).
  • Technical mindset.
  • Numerical and scientific abilities.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of English (both written and oral).
  • Experience in metalworking or as a Mechanic will be seen as an advantage.
  • Potential candidates will be asked to present one of their individual academic / professional projects.

Duties

CORE TASKS

  • Provide assistance upon general engineering tasks including (but not limited to) research, design, test and integration of mechanical components and systems.
  • Perform analysis on existing hardware.
  • Support design and development cycle of future hardware.
  • Participate in quality assurance and system safety.
  • Support data analysis and interpretation.
  • Assist in writing reports and documentation.
  • Support technical maintenance and repair of equipment.
