Description
Land/area inspector is a specialist, who performs controls of land measurement and supervises land measuring and organises information systems of land surveys. They ensure that agricultural entities comply with government and international regulations. They are responsible for the production and safe operation of survey crews. Inspectors are also responsible for maintaining land measurement information data bases and training new employees in the field.
Tasks:
1. Controlling and supervising the procedure of taking land measurements
2. Being aware and taking into account the jurisdiction related to the job
3. Dealing with all the documentation, making reports
4. Coordinating the work of their subordinates and all the measures which should be taken
5. Cooperating with other specialists and consulting with the clients
6. Attending meetings and conferences
7. Traveling occasionally to the objects of survey
8. Providing advice to a range of clients

Qualifications and training:
This job requires a bachelor degree at surveying or other related field and good knowledge on geography, geology, and cartography or mapping sciences are preferable.
