Requirements:

Student in major technical fields (industrial electrical engineering, automation, microelectronic systems, mechatronics, radio-electronic);

Ability to find several options for solving the issue;

Learnability (ability to work with mentor, the ability to seek and learn the needed information)

Will to develop in the field of industrial R&D equipment, aircraft engineering, robotics, etc.

Knowledge of the basic stages of design and development

Ability to analyze and use technical documentation (including the English language);

Interaction with the team (ability to listen to the team's advice/work in a team));

Ability to take part in negotiations with the suppliers of electronic components and industrial equipment;

Experience in developing design documentation;

Will be a plus:

Experience with industrial equipment

Involvement in projects related to mechanical/aviation/robotics

Experience with working in the programs: Altium Designer/ WS CAD /MATLAB & Simulink

Basic Functionality

Software development for PLC, HMI

Selection of optimum components according to the terms of reference

Participation in the layout and subsequent assembly of electrical cabinets

Technical support of the assembly and commissioning of non-standard equipment (machinery equipment, robotic systems, control cabinets, etc.);

Inquiring with suppliers for the selected components for the prototype according to the technical requirements

Compilation of technical documentation for the developed software (creation of operation manual and operator's manual);

Performing start-up and adjustment works at the site, testing the equipment before shipment to the customer;

Study of EU safety standards for industrial equipment;

Work conditions/skills:
Study and work, flexible hours Work in Riga

10 - 20 hours a week

Trial period 2 months

Programming language: C/C++ (nice to have) Version control system: GitHub

Preferred language: English (German/Latvian/Russian nice to have)
