To support our R&D, innovation, and international expansion, we are looking for an EU Funding & Grants Manager to lead the identification, acquisition, and management of EU-funded projects and public innovation grants.

Position Overview
The EU Funding & Grants Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of EU and national funding opportunities, including Horizon Europe, EIT, Digital Europe, Interreg, and national innovation programs.
This role bridges technology, finance, and project coordination, ensuring that Adventum Tech successfully secures non-dilutive funding and complies with financial, technical, and reporting requirements of EU-funded projects.
Duties
Key Responsibilities
1. Funding Strategy & Opportunity Identification
Identify relevant EU, regional, and national funding programs aligned with Adventum Tech’s R&D and commercialization roadmap.
Monitor open and upcoming calls (Horizon Europe, EIC, EIT, Interreg, Digital Europe, etc.).
Assess eligibility, funding intensity, and strategic fit for each opportunity.
Advise management on funding strategy and project positioning.
2. Proposal Development & Submission
Coordinate and prepare EU grant applications, including:
Technical descriptions (in collaboration with engineering teams)
Work packages, milestones, and deliverables
Budgets, cost structures, and financial justifications
Lead or support consortium building with research institutions, SMEs, and industry partners.
Ensure compliance with EU proposal templates, evaluation criteria, and deadlines.
3. Financial Planning & Budget Management
Develop detailed project budgets, cost breakdowns, and funding forecasts.
Ensure compliance with EU financial rules (eligible costs, time tracking, subcontracting).
Coordinate with finance and external accountants on cost reporting.
Support audits and financial reviews by funding authorities.
4. Project Administration & Reporting
Manage grant agreements, amendments, and contractual obligations.
Prepare and submit periodic technical and financial reports.
Track project progress, KPIs, and deliverables across departments.
Act as the main contact point with funding agencies and project partners.
5. Internal Coordination & Process Improvement
Establish internal processes for grant management and documentation.
Support engineers and project managers with EU project requirements.
Maintain a structured repository of proposals, contracts, and reports.
Contribute to continuous improvement of funding success rates.
Proposal
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
Proven experience with EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Interreg, EIT, etc.).
Strong understanding of EU grant financial rules and reporting requirements.
Experience in proposal writing, budgeting, and project coordination.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
