Junior Cloud Data Engineer in our “Talent Greenhouse’’ program

In this program you will receive comprehensive training in technical and professional skills throughout your first year at Cognizant. Our experienced colleagues will guide and support you to help you achieve your long-term career goals. By successfully mastering skills and demonstrating successful performance, you will have the opportunity to work on client engagements

·         Have SQL skills

·         Have knowledge of databases and operating systems

·         Have basic programming experience

·         Have a good problem solving and analytical skills

·         Have strong interpersonal and communication skills

·         Be self-motivated and have a passion to learn new software and technologies quickly

·         Have good English (spoken and written) in order to effectively participate in communication within Global team

·         Be legally authorized to work freely in Latvia without company sponsorship (due to the nature of this position)

The rest our friendly and professional colleagues will teach you.

•         Be an active member of the team that develops data pipelines and data products

•         Acquire a good understanding of data management and software development lifecycle

•         Load data from third party sources and internal applications, transform data if needed

•         Expand your programming skills, gain knowledge about modern data and analytics technologies

•         Help your team to create a cutting-edge cloud data platform for a client

•         Perform additional duties and/or replace other colleagues within the scope of own competencies at the request of direct manager

•         Starting salary of 1800 EUR gross monthly, with the opportunity to increase income already within first year

•         First workday on 2nd of June 2025
