Requirements
Position Overview:
We are seeking an active and enthusiastic Cheese Master Assistant Intern to join our team. This internship is designed for students who are eager to learn about the cheese industry and cheese-making processes.
Internship duration and start date - upon agreement (preferably 3 months starting from June 2024).
Duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Cheese Master in daily tasks including cheese production, handling, and storage.
- Prepare technological equipment for work.
- Learn about the most popular Italian fresh cheese types as Mozzarella, Burrata and some semi-hard cheeses, their origins, and flavor profiles.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a food quality and innovation, technology of food products or related field of study.
- An interest in the cheese industry and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Knowledge of English or Italian will be considered as a plus.
- Ready to work with Italian Cheese Master from South of Italy.
