Storage Specialist

We are looking for a Storage Specialist to be a part of our Back-up team.

• Knowledge of IBM and Dell EMC midrange storage systems, and Cisco MDS SAN;
• Knowledge of IBM V7000 and Flash systems 9200, and knowledge of All Flash arrays and also NVMe Flash technologies;
• Knowledge of Storwize V7000, Flash systems 7200 and 9200, SVC and Hyper swap;
• Enterprise director class knowledge, preferably for (or similar) Cisco MDS 9710 32 & 16GB line cards and 9148S Edge switches;
• Knowledge about Dell EMC, Isilon, Unity, ECS (Object Storage);
• Knowledge about Stor2RDD, IBM Storage Insights, Dell EMC, Cloud IQ and Science logic;
• Preferably knowledge about ITIL, Change Management and Service Now as a Incident and change platform;
• Bonus will be considered: SNIA, Dell EMC and IBM storage certifications.

• Design, configure, develop, integrates, tests, implements, documents, and supports the storage infrastructure ecosystem;
• Responsible for applying patches, upgrading software, and making sure that data is secured;
• Responsible for monitoring the storage area network (SAN);
• Diagnose and troubleshoot storage related issues;
• Maintain storage environment characteristics, including: physical array characteristics, logical disk layout, standard configurations, storage network;
• Develop and maintain procedures and working practices for the efficient and effective running of all tasks associated with operating and controlling installed hardware and software;
• Handle operation mailbox and Service Now tickets related to storage tasks;
• Work with vendors during hardware repair activities if needed;
• Other storage/SAN related tasks delegated by Team leader
