About the role

We are a team of 8 people in Riga supporting bigger Data & Analytics and Data Enabler functions in the Nordics. We look for energetic and passionate full-time or part-time trainee interested in data world.

What will you do?

• You will join one of the teams in Data & Analytics or Data Enabler functions and will be working on tasks devoted to our data landscape modernization, incl. data modeling, data engineering, data analytics.
• Experience Agile ways of working and take part in sprint plannings, reviews, demos.
• Learn about data use cases in insurance industry and help us support If data strategy.
• Main technologies used: SQL, Python, Databricks, Azure Cloud, dbt, Power BI/Tableau.
   

What do we expect from you?

• At least 2nd year student in STEM education fields.
• Proficiency in Latvian, as well as English, both written and spoken.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
• Really good communication skills – we look for someone who is eager to connect with colleagues for successful task completion.
• Readiness to take part in internship for at least 6 months.
• Nice to have: experience with one of the above mentioned technologies, projects (study or other) related to data & analytics.
