ABOUT MASTER DATA ANALYST POSITION
The Master Data Analyst (MDA) is part of the DIT Global Master Data Management (MDM) team and supports it with tailored services regarding the provision of high-quality - i.e. accurate, complete, consistent, valid and timely - master data.
The role is vital to enable critical supply chain and manufacturing processes. The MDA sustains various global master data maintenance systems (SAP HANA S/4, Winshuttle, VIM…) and operational processes in close collaboration with the local and global functional experts. Moreover, the MDA strives for the continuous improvement of data and the relevant SAP S4 HANA system in which it resides.
Requirements
- Degree in Science, Business, it, Engineering or other technical areas
- 0-3+ years Experience in SAP Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations in a global environment with strong knowledge of different business processes
- Experience with Master Data management tools (Winshuttle or any other)
- Excellent communication and english language skills (German language skills are considered as advantage)
- Advanced skills of MS Office
Duties
The core responsibility of the MDS is end-to-end master data maintenance and enhancement projects:
- Collect, consolidate, maintain and cleanse master data in SAP HANA S4 across regions in collaboration with the local and global functional experts, including mass changes
- Ensure right first time including all pre-checks and evaluation of correct parameters in compliance with MD Standards
Identify and report maintenance related issues, analyze root-causes, and resolve issues - Act as focal point for Master Data with internal client groups and build support and understanding independently. Cooperation on MDG tool implementation and Governance documentation.
- Monitor data, create and analyze reports, and track specific activity (ex. change logs) to ensure records are synchronized, accurate, complete, and compliant
- Actively contribute in the further development of standards and templates
- Support team leader on the training development, documentation
- Lead continuous improvement and implementation projects (SAP migration from R/3 to S4)
- Collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and internal partners
- Report workload and progress on a regular basis to the Team Lead
